The PX-700 system is all about simplicity in the control of whole-house music and offers the ultimate in audio reproduction. For background music, wide bandwidth and high-current audio circuits deliver music that is lifelike at even the lowest of volume levels. The audio quality is on par with separate high-quality component systems when only the best musical detail and imaging is desired. Compatible for background music, the system is uniquely capable for use in even demanding listening environments.
The legendary KPS101 keypad leads the industry in its simplicity of design and function. Press a button and music fills the room. The CATC touchscreen and upcoming additions such as the CS-IP Ethernet modules marry high quality and control simplicity with an IP address and the latest in two-way interfaces and control options.
The heart of a superior-sounding system, the PX-700 is both the brains and audio-switching center of your multizone system. Advanced preamplifier circuits provide the quality of separate components. Control functions manage source functions by receiving control signals from keypads and touchscreens throughout the home. Eight sources may be connected to the controller, and sources may be shared throughout the house or even dedicated to a specific zone of the home. The PX-700 routes audio to 6 zones and may be expanded to up to 36 zones and 144 total rooms with use of PX-603 expanders.
Connected to the PX-700 may be one or more MA-362 12-channel amplifiers to provide clean amplifier power for your multiroom environment. Power for each of the 12 channels is delivered by a pair of high-current output transistors capable of delivering over 200 watts. With a power rating of 50 watts per channel at 8 ohms from 20Hz to 20kHz with less than .05 THD, the MA-362 will drive virtually any loudspeaker to room-filling volume. When using two channels together, the amplifier is capable of delivering 150 watts per channel to areas where high power is needed.
The VX-241 Video Matrix Switcher adds a totally new dimension to the capabilities of an Audioaccess multiroom system by providing video signal routing in a PX-700 system installation. Specifically, the VX-241 is a broadcast-quality video matrix switcher which supports eight video sources while supplying video feeds in up to eight seperate rooms of an Audioaccess installation.
The CATC provides advanced source control and is fun and intuitive to use. Any source control function desired may be controlled by the CATC. Your installer may also configure the touchscreen to provide full two-way feedback from hard-disk servers and other two-way communicating devices. A ROOMS feature allows you to turn on music in another room (e.g., setting up music in the dining room from the kitchen). A SCHEDULER feature allows timed events to turn on or off any room of the home, any time of day.
The CATC touchscreen is of particular use as a master control center and is often installed in kitchens, master bedrooms or primary entertainment rooms of the home. It may also access video-only sources that are routed to the local TV by independently accessing security cameras connected to the VX-241 video switcher without changing the music in a room.
Most rooms in a home need a control that is as easy to use as turning on a light switch. The KPS 101 follows this type of user friendliness and offers 90% to 100% of the control needed to enjoy your system. No training is needed, and all family members will instantly be able to enjoy the system.
The eight easy-to-read buttons on the KPS101 keypad allow both access and control of up to five sources of your multiroom system. Press a source button and the music fills the room. Press again and the source changes channels or skips a song. A press-and-hold function allows for a third function such as advancing to a new playlist or accessing additional channels. An integral IR receiver allows advance source control from an Audioaccess® remote.
The KPT allows easy installation of any Audioaccess system. With connections for six keypads and one connection for either a controller or another KPT, the termination of even the largest systems can be accomplished easily. If you require more than six keypad connections, or have multiple controllers, additional KPT's can be daisy chained as required. Additionally, using the KPT allows for easy disconnection of any individual keypad so that troubleshooting and expansion can be carried out quickly.
With a combination of Audioaccess CATC touchscreens, basic keypads and remotes, the aDock system gives your customers unprecedented access to their music from anywhere in their homes. They can scroll through their possibilities by artist, album or genre. They can see what's playing now, and what's coming next, skip ahead (or go back) by track, album or playlist, or even create new playlists as they go along. The iPod is all about choice, and Audioaccess has always been about control. Together, they take home entertainment to new levels of convenience and ease of use.
